Job Summary

The Dealer Service Associate will support dealer network service operations, ensure proper vehicle servicing, and maintain customer satisfaction for electric vehicles. The role involves coordinating between company technical team, dealers, and customers for smooth after-sales service and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Support

Coordinate with dealership service teams for EV repair and maintenance

Guide dealers on troubleshooting EV issues (battery, controller, motor, wiring)

Ensure proper use of company service SOPs and diagnostic procedures

Support dealer technicians through call/video technical assistance

Service Operations

Monitor service requests, complaints, and warranty cases

Track vehicle repair turnaround time (TAT)

Arrange spare parts availability for dealer workshops

Maintain service reports and records

Technical Assistance

Diagnose common EV faults (battery, charger, BMS, controller)

Assist in software updates & calibration support

Escalate complex technical issues to central technical team

Support PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) compliance

Customer Handling

Resolve customer complaints through dealer coordination

Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI)

Follow up pending service cases until closure





Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily/weekly service reports

Update service CRM / ERP systems

Track warranty claims & approvals

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of EV components (Battery, Motor, Controller, BMS, Charger)

Good troubleshooting & problem-solving ability

Strong communication & dealer coordination skills

MS Excel & reporting knowledge

Ability to travel to dealer locations when required

Educational Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Mechanical

EV certification course preferred
