About the Role We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (L2) who can handle complex application issues, perform deeper troubleshooting, and ensure reliable operations of our SaaS platform. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, and data layers. Key Responsibilities Handle escalated production incidents from L1 support Troubleshoot application issues using logs, system metrics, and SQL queries Analyze and debug issues across application, database, and infrastructure layers Work closely with engineering teams to resolve product defects and performance issues Investigate issues in Linux/Unix environments and application servers Perform root cause analysis and document solutions Improve support runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles Assist with production deployments, configuration updates,
and operational tasks What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of application or technical support experience Strong understanding of application troubleshooting in production environments Positive working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and debugging Strong hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS or GCP) Ability to analyze logs, APIs, and service interactions Understanding of microservices-based applications and distributed systems Experience with incident management and production support processes Nice to Have Experience supporting SaaS platforms or enterprise applications Familiarity with monitoring tools and log management systems Exposure to APIs, messaging systems, or event-driven systems Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python)
