Role Purpose

The Senior Learning Consultant is a strategic partner to business leaders and clients, responsible for diagnosing capability gaps, designing high‑impact learning solutions, and enabling measurable business outcomes.

This role goes beyond training delivery. It blends consulting, solutioning, learning architecture, and AI‑enabled execution to future‑proof talent for an AI‑augmented way of working.

The incumbent operates at the intersection of business strategy, workforce transformation, and learning innovation, with a strong emphasis on AI adoption, productivity, and performance acceleration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Capability Consulting

- Act as a trusted advisor to business, delivery, and functional leaders to understand:
- Strategic priorities
- Performance challenges
- Capability gaps (current vs future)

- Conduct diagnostic conversations, stakeholder interviews, and role analyses to surface:

- Observable behaviors
- Skill adjacencies
- Decision‑making bottlenecks

- Translate business challenges into clear, outcome‑driven capability interventions (not course catalogs).

Outcome focus:
Enable business leaders to clearly articulate “what must change in how people think, decide, and deliver.”

2. AI‑First Learning Solution Design

- Design AI‑enabled learning journeys that integrate:
- Human expertise
- AI copilots and assistants
- Contextual nudges and performance support

- Embed AI tools (e.g., generative AI, copilots, analytics platforms) into:

- Shift solutions from “learning events” to AI‑augmented workflows, where learning happens in the flow of work.

Examples of AI‑first approaches:

- Prompt engineering labs aligned to roles (ICs, Managers, Leaders)
- AI‑assisted case simulations and decision scenarios
- Copilot‑enabled productivity challenges
- AI‑powered coaching, reflection, and feedback loops

3. Solutioning & Program Architecture

- Own end‑to‑end solutioning, including:
- Learning strategy

- Journey architecture
- Modality mix (cohort, digital, experiential, on‑the‑job)

- Customize programs by:

- Role level (ICs, Managers, Mid‑Management, Leaders)
- Industry context
- Client maturity and operating model

- Design scalable, repeatable frameworks while preserving contextual relevance.

Key mindset:
Design modular, composable learning assets that can continuously evolve as tools and business needs change.

4. Stakeholder & Client Engagement

- Lead discovery and solutioning conversations with:
- Senior leaders
- HR partners
- Client sponsors

- Present solutions with consulting clarity:

- Business context
- Capability hypothesis
- Solution rationale
- Expected impact

- Influence stakeholders to move away from time‑based training to outcome‑based enablement.

5. Program Delivery Oversight

- Provide intellectual leadership across delivery teams:
- Internal faculty
- External subject matter experts
- Academia and industry partners

- Ensure delivery quality, relevance, and consistency with the designed experience.
- Act as a learning producer, not just a facilitator—ensuring sessions drive insight, application, and behavior change.

6. Measurement, Impact & Value Realization

- Define explicit success metrics tied to:
- Productivity
- Quality
- Speed
- Adoption of AI tools

- Move beyond satisfaction scores to:

- Skill progression indicators
- Business performance signals
- Manager‑observed behavior change

- Leverage AI and analytics to:

- Track learning engagement
- Surface insights
- Continuously improve solution effectiveness

7. AI Way of Working (Internal)
