Role: Purview Data & System Analyst (Financial Domain)

Location: Remote (India)

Working Time: The working hours will be 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM IST.

Number of Positions: 2

1. Senior Lead Resource (7–8 years' experience) who, in addition to the required skills, brings strong stakeholder management capabilities and can confidently lead discussions and workshops.

2. Mid-level Resource (3–5 years' experience): Should have a strong foundation in data governance and analysis.

Must-Have Capabilities / Tool Proficiency:

- Strong understanding of data governance (data classification, lifecycle, ownership, and governance models) with the ability to translate business needs into governance solutions
- Confident in interacting with business SMEs and IT/Security teams; able to drive discussions/workshops and clearly articulate findings
- Mandatory experience in financial services with understanding of financial entities, ownership structures, and regulatory considerations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to document AS-IS processes, data flows, and identify gaps or inconsistencies
- Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Good communication and documentation skills (reports, diagrams,



executive summaries), along with experience in tools like Visio and Lucidchart for process mapping
- Basic exposure to governance tools like Microsoft Purview; Varonis/Cyera is a plus
- Experience with SQL is preferred

We are looking for a Data & System Analyst who has hands on experience managing data into Microsoft 365 platforms like SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive etc. The person must have valuable exposure of MS Purview and have experience working with financial data. Good communication is documentation skills is required and should have proficiency using the related tools mentioned in the JD. The ideal resource should also understand the basics of SQL.

We are not looking for a Data Engineer, but a M365 Data and System analyst and administrator who could manage the governance of data and platforms.

Client is looking for recourses with great hands-on experience with MS Purview and should be working on Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Quality Management etc.

Also, should have done documentation using different tools
