About the Role
Honasa Consumer Limited's EBOS (Exclusive Brand Outlet) business is one of the fastest-growing retail verticals in the D2C-to-offline journey of India’s leading personal care brands.
As a Retail Analyst , you will act as the analytical nerve centre of the EBOS operations team — transforming complex retail data into actionable insights that drive store performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
This is a high-impact, business-facing role requiring the mindset of a hustler, the rigor of a finance professional, and the curiosity of a strategist.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Intelligence & Dashboarding
- Own and publish the Daily Retail Sales Dashboard across all EBOS stores with zero lag and errors.
- Build and maintain automated MIS reports using Excel and SQL .
- Develop dashboards using BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio) .
- Generate forward-looking insights: trends, seasonality, outliers, and growth opportunities.
2. Cost Control & P&L; Stewardship
- Act as the cost custodian of the EBOS vertical.
- Analyze all cost components: rent, staffing, packaging, utilities, shrinkage, etc.
- Prepare cost review decks with root cause analysis and optimization recommendations .
- Track cost-per-store and cost-per-transaction benchmarks.
3. Procurement & Purchase Order Management
- Own end-to-end PO generation framework .
- Manage and guide the SAP Executive for system-level entries.
- Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.
4. Payroll Inputs & Attendance Analytics
- Analyze Attendance Management System (AMS) data monthly.
- Generate accurate payroll inputs within defined timelines.
- Identify absenteeism trends, anomalies, and overtime patterns.
5. Field Force Compliance Monitoring
- Track Area Managers (AMs) and Regional Managers (RMs) against beat plans.
- Identify coverage gaps and missed visits.
- Maintain an updated field compliance tracker.
6. New Store Performance Analysis
- Build and own Recent Store Performance Scorecard .
- Track ramp-up, break-even, ATV, footfall, conversion, and revenue/sqft.
- Deliver 30/60/90-day post-launch analyses .
- Support expansion decisions with data insights.
7. Inventory & RTW Coordination
- Coordinate Return-to-Warehouse (RTW) processes.
- Track SLAs and resolve delays.
- Maintain inventory hygiene reports.
8. Marketing Campaign Analytics Liaison
- Collaborate with the CRM/Marketing team .
- Analyze campaign impact: footfall, conversions, acquisition.
- Connect marketing efforts to store-level performance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 1–4 years in analytics, business operations, retail MIS, or finance.
- Experience in FMCG, D2C, or retail environments preferred.
- Exposure to multi-store operations is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel (mandatory): pivot tables, formulas, Power Query, dashboards
- SQL (desirable)
- BI Tools : Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio
- SAP / ERP familiarity
- Knowledge of attendance systems & payroll processes

Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Commerce, Business, or Engineering)
