Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Location: Bangalore – Bhartiya City Tech Park

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Type: Full-time/ Permanent

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.

Transportation: 2-way cab will be provided

I. Job Summary:

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, management, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network‑related issues affecting voice and data services. The engineer will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, contribute to infrastructure strategy, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers. The role also supports strategic initiatives tied to network performance, availability, and security.

II. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage and support configuration of network resources.
- Provide network design and recommendations to ensure reliability, redundancy, and scalability.
- Manage and support routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP, QoS , etc.
- Monitor and support local and wide‑area network environments.
- Diagnose, document, and resolve complex network issues.
- Plan, document, and deploy network changes aligned with ongoing projects.
- Provide Level 3 escalation support and problem resolution.
- Work outside regular business hours when needed to implement changes or resolve high‑priority issues.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for network operations.
- Support, train,



and mentor junior network engineers.
- Participate in capacity planning, design reviews, and security remediation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and address security concerns when identified.

III. Years of Experience:

5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking, cloud networking, and infrastructure support.

IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
- Certifications:
- CCNA / CCNP (Required)
- AZ‑700 – Azure Networking (Required)

V. Skill Set Required:

Must Have:

- Hands‑on experience with:
- Azure Firewalls, Azure Web Application Firewalls
- Azure Load Balancers, NSGs, Route Tables, Azure vWAN
- Experience with Cisco switches and Meraki Wireless infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP ) and high‑availability protocols (HSRP ).
- Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark .
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE or other 802.1x authentication resources.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Experience working effectively in remote or hybrid team setups.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with CATO Networks (Azure virtual & on‑prem hardware).
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
