Role Purpose : At SASMOS HET Technologies Limited , the Enterprise Risk Manager will operate as a strategic individual contributor , responsible for building and institutionalizing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework within a highly regulated Defence & Aerospace environment .

The role will enable proactive risk visibility across program delivery, compliance, export controls, supply chain, and global operations , ensuring business resilience and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build ERM Framework (Ground-up)

- Design and deploy ERM framework aligned with ISO 31000 / COSO
- Define risk taxonomy, appetite, and governance mechanisms
- Integrate risk practices into program and business planning cycles

2. Enterprise & Program Risk Management

- Drive risk identification across:
- Strategic Risks
- Program execution & delivery risks
- Operational Risks;
- Financial Risks;
- Reputational Risks;
- Supply chain & sourcing risks
- Quality & certification risks (AS9100)
- Export control & regulatory risks (ITAR/EAR)
- Cybersecurity & data protection risks
- Global operations (US, Morocco)
- Maintain and govern a centralized enterprise risk register

3. Risk Mitigation & Controls

- Develop mitigation strategies with cross-functional teams
- Strengthen internal controls in critical business areas
- Track closure and effectiveness of risk mitigation plans

4. Governance & Leadership Reporting

- Build risk dashboards, heatmaps, and insights for leadership
- Present risk reviews to ELT
- Support decision-making through forward-looking risk analysis

5. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

- Ensure adherence to:
- Defence & aerospace standards (AS9100)
- Export control regulations (ITAR/EAR)
- Customer and statutory requirements
- Support audits, certifications, and regulatory reviews

6. Business Continuity & Crisis Management





- Develop and operationalize Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
- Drive crisis preparedness and simulation exercises
- Ensure operational resilience across sites

7. Risk Culture & Advisory

- Act as a risk advisor to leadership and program teams
- Drive awareness and embed a risk-first mindset
- Influence without authority across functions

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

- ERM framework implementation and maturity
- Reduction and control of critical enterprise risks
- Strong audit and compliance outcomes
- Leadership adoption of risk dashboards
- Effectiveness of BCP and crisis preparedness

Qualifications & Experience

- Mandatory: Master’s degree in one of the following:
- Risk Management / Finance / Business Administration (MBA)
- Engineering Management / Aerospace / Industrial Engineering
- Preferred certifications: FRM / CFA / CA / Risk Certifications
- 7–12 years of experience in:
- Enterprise Risk Management / Internal Audit / Program Risk
- Defence, Aerospace, Electronics Manufacturing, or regulated industries

Key Skills & Competencies

- Expertise in ERM frameworks (COSO / ISO 31000)
- Strong understanding of Defence & Aerospace compliance environment
- Ability to build and operate independently (IC role)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- High analytical rigor and attention to detail
- Robust communication and executive presence

- ERM framework established and operational
- Full risk visibility across key programs and functions
- Improved compliance and audit outcomes
- Risk insights actively used in leadership decision-making
