Job Roles & Responsibilities – Oracle EPBCS Consultant

Core Responsibilities:

- Lead and deliver end-to-end implementation of Planning & Budgeting solutions using EPBCS/PBCS/Hyperion Planning
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional/technical designs
- Design and configure Planning applications , including:
- Workforce Planning
- Capex Planning
- Develop and manage:
- Forms
- Task Lists
- Security (user roles, access control)
- Other planning artifacts
- Build and maintain Business Rules / Calc Scripts
- Perform data integration using Data Management/FDMEE
- Support UAT, deployments, and post-production support
- Ensure adherence to best practices and performance optimization




- Participate in 2–5 full lifecycle implementations

Required Skills:

- 4–9 years of experience in:
- Oracle EPBCS / PBCS / Hyperion Planning (On-Prem)
- Strong hands-on in:
- Forms Building
- Task Lists
- Security setup
- Planning artifacts
- Experience with:
- Workforce and/or Capex modules
- End-to-end implementation lifecycle
- Good understanding of Planning & Budgeting processes
- Knowledge of:
- Essbase (ASO/BSO)
- Business Rules / Calc Scripts

Valuable to Have:

- Groovy scripting in EPBCS
- EPM Automate / REST APIs
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) domain knowledge
