? Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead to own the complete software development pipeline — from Business Requirements through deployment. This is a full-time, leadership role for a proactive professional who thrives as a "driver" rather than a "doer." You will bridge technical architecture and project execution, leading our development team while maintaining hands-on technical credibility.

Position Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5+ years)

Location: Remote-friendly / Based in India preferred

Reporting To: Solution Architect & Chief of Staff

? Core Mandate

Own the end-to-end technical delivery pipeline: - BRD → Backlog → Client Approval → PRD → Sprint Planning → Development → QA → Deployment

You will be the single point of accountability for translating business requirements into shipped features. This role eliminates operational bottlenecks and frees executive leadership to focus on strategy, not task-tracking.

? Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership (50%)

- Lead and mentor development team on technical architecture and best practices
- Conduct code review gating and QA decision-making
- Assess technical feasibility of requirements; flag risks early
- Own system design and technical implementation approach
- Maintain technical credibility with hands-on involvement in complex problems
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural patterns
- Participate in technical strategy discussions with Solution Architect

Project & Process Management (50%)

- Sprint Management: Plan, track, and execute 2-week development cycles
- Backlog Ownership: Prioritize and organize work in collaboration with Product Owner
- Estimation: Size stories, forecast delivery timelines, manage scope
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide status updates, flag blockers, manage client expectations
- Process Discipline: Ensure work flows smoothly from BRD → Deployment with no gaps
- QA Gating: Make go/no-go decisions before deployment based on quality criteria
- Proactive Management: Schedule meetings, escalate blockers, drive decisions — don't wait to be told

Team Dynamics

- Manage the development team end-to-end (planning, feedback, performance)
- Work with external teams (QA, DevOps, Client) to unblock development
- Build and maintain team velocity metrics and delivery predictability
- Coach team on process discipline and technical excellence

? Success Metrics
- Delivery Predictability: Sprints complete within 5% of forecast
- Quality: Zero critical defects reach production; QA gating is enforced
- Team Velocity: Maintain or grow sprint velocity quarter-over-quarter
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Client feedback on feature delivery (timeliness, quality, communication)
- Process Compliance: 100% adherence to BRD-to-deployment workflow; no work slips between steps
- Operational Impact: Reduce executive tracking overhead from 80% to 20%

✅ Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience (backend, frontend, or full-stack)
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior IC role (tech lead, architect, engineering manager, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage development teams (5-15 person scale)
- Strong technical depth:
- Can assess architectural trade-offs independently
- Can perform technical code review effectively
- Understands deployment, CI/CD, and infrastructure concerns
- Project management experience:
- Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with sprint planning, backlog management, estimation
- Track record of on-time, on-scope delivery
- Communication skills:
- Can translate between technical and business stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting status and escalating blockers
- Proactive in raising issues early
- Problem-solving mindset:
- Takes initiative without requiring constant direction
- Owns full delivery pipeline end-to-end
- Flags risks and proposes solutions, not just problems

- Experience with healthcare/medical records or ERP systems
- Familiarity with Node.js, Python, React, or similar contemporary stacks
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms
- Track record of scaling teams or improving development velocity
- Prior experience in remote or distributed team environments
- Exposure to different software methodologies (Waterfall, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing and QA frameworks

? About the RoleWhat This Is NOT:
