Position: Jr. BOM Engineer

Main job Location: Hyderabad

Timings: 09:00 AM –6:30 PM (Monday - Saturday)

Package: 2 LPA – 3 LPA Working Mode: Full Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior BOM Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the BOM (Bill of Materials) process, including component identification, packing, vendor communication, and ensuring the timely completion of assembly tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accuracy in BOM records, organizing the packaging process, and working closely with assembly and QC teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identification of Components:

1. Identify and verify components required for assembly from the BOM to ensure accuracy and availability for production.

2. BOM Packing as per Defined Process:

1. Follow the defined procedures for BOM packing, ensuring components are organized and packed properly for assembly vendors.

2. Ensure that all packaging is done in accordance with the company's quality standards and safety protocols.

3. Confirmation of Existing BOM Availability:

1. Confirm the availability of components in the existing BOM before initiating the packing and assembly process.

2. Communicate with internal teams or vendors to resolve any availability issues promptly.

4. Planning and Execution of BOM Packing and Vendor Communication:

1. Plan and execute the BOM packing process, coordinating with assembly vendors for the timely receipt and assembly of components.

2. Maintain consistent communication with vendors to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with project timelines.

5. PO Releasing for Assembler PCBs:

1. Release purchase orders (PO) for assembled PCBs, ensuring timely procurement and delivery from vendors.

2.



Work closely with procurement and vendor management teams to ensure POs are processed without delays.

6. Stickering Sheet Preparation for PCB BOM Packing:

1. Prepare and affix stickering sheets to PCBs, ensuring that all relevant information (e.g., part numbers, quantities, vendor details) is accurately displayed.

2. Ensure that all required documentation is included with the packed items.

7. Offering Assembled PCBs to QC Team:

1. Once assembly is complete, offer the assembled PCBs to the Quality Control (QC) team for testing and inspection.

2. Coordinate with the QC team to ensure timely review and approval of assembled boards.

8. Additional Responsibilities:

1. Take on any other tasks or duties as assigned by the reporting authority, contributing to the overall success of the department and the organization.

2. Maintain a proactive and flexible approach to support team needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of electronics components and the role they play in the assembly process.
- Ability to follow defined processes and ensure accuracy in component identification and BOM packing.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor coordination and internal collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in working with BOM systems, assembly processes, or in a production environment.
- Familiarity with PCBs and related assembly procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Minimum Service : 2 Months Training + 24 Months FTE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
