Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist located in Pune City. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and analyzing geospatial data to support various infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include creating geospatial visualizations, performing spatial analysis, managing GIS databases, and collaborating with project teams to deliver tailored solutions.



Additional tasks include ensuring data quality, maintaining spatial data sets, and staying updated on advancements in GIS technologies and standards.

Qualifications
Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms
Experience in geospatial data management, analysis, and visualization techniques
Knowledge of LiDAR data processing and 3-D geospatial mapping technologies
Ability to create detailed maps, layers, and spatial relationships using GIS tools
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills for spatial and geospatial analysis
Understanding of infrastructure and urban development projects is an advantage
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field
Prior experience in a similar role, particularly in an engineering or consulting firm, is preferred
