As we scale our platform, we are looking for a sharp, driven Ecommerce Marketplace Expert to own and accelerate our marketplace growth.n
- *Role Overview**

nAs the Ecommerce Marketplace Expert at seekhobecho, you will be the go-to person for everything related to marketplace performance, seller growth, and buyer experience. You will work at the intersection of product, operations, and marketing to drive GMV growth, improve conversion, and build a thriving two-sided marketplace.n
- *Key Responsibilities**
- *Marketplace Strategy & Growth**
- Own the end-to-end marketplace roadmap - from seller acquisition to buyer retention.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase GMV, active listings, and repeat purchase rates.
- Identify high-potential categories and drive focused expansion plans.
- *Seller Management**
- Onboard, enable, and grow a portfolio of sellers across categories.
- Define and track seller health metrics: listing quality, fulfilment rates, seller NPS.
- Run seller training programs and create best-practice playbooks.
- Manage seller relationships, resolve escalations, and drive policy adoption.
- *Buyer Experience & Conversion**




- Analyse the buyer funnel and identify drop-off points to improve conversion.
- Work with product and design teams to improve search, discovery, and checkout flows.
- Drive initiatives around trust, reviews, and buyer satisfaction.
- *Catalogue & Content Quality**
- Ensure high-quality, SEO-optimised product listings across the marketplace.
- Set and enforce catalogue standards including images, descriptions, and pricing.
- Partner with tech to automate catalogue enrichment at scale.
- *Analytics & Reporting**
- Track and report on key marketplace KPIs: GMV, orders, AOV, seller count, buyer count, take rate.
- Use data to surface actionable insights and present findings to leadership.
- Run A/B experiments on promotions, pricing, and merchandising.
- *What We Are Looking For**
- *Must-Have**
- 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, or category management.
- Hands-on experience with marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, or similar).
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Proven track record of driving GMV or revenue growth at a marketplace.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
