Responsibilities
Lead the finance function for the designated power projects and operations, ensuring robust financial controls and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial strategies that support the company’s short-term and long-term business objectives
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to provide accurate insights and support decision-making processes for senior leadership
- Manage working capital, liquidity, and cash flow to optimize financial health and operational efficiency of power plants and associated projects
- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reporting, ensuring transparency and adherence to corporate governance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, operations, legal, and commercial departments to align financial goals and mitigate risks
- Evaluate and recommend financing options, investment opportunities, and capital expenditure plans to maximize returns and manage cost effectively
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence aligned with Adani’s values
- Interface with banks, financial institutions, regulators,



and external auditors to ensure smooth financial operations and timely reporting.
Champion the adoption of digital finance tools and automation to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timely reporting.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports, variance analysis, and management commentary to the Board and executive committees.
Drive cost optimization initiatives and financial efficiency programs to enhance profitability while maintaining quality and compliance.
Ensure adherence to GST, Income Tax, and other relevant financial statutory requirements specific to the power and energy sector
- Support business development initiatives by providing due diligence, financial feasibility analysis, and risk assessment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to proactively manage financial risks and opportunities
- Promote Adani’s commitment to sustainability by integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) considerations into financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant / MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.

B.com / MBA or any relevant graduation.
