Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ocean Export Pricing Analyst based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities include analyzing pricing data, preparing cost estimates, supporting sales teams with competitive rates, and ensuring accurate and timely bid submissions. The role also involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary data and providing insights based on market trends to optimize pricing strategies.

Qualifications

- Positions requiring a minimum of 5 years of sea freight/ocean pricing experience are actively available, particularly in Mumbai,



focusing on negotiating rates with shipping lines and NVOCC partners to optimize logistics costs. Key roles involve managing export/import pricing, analyzing market trends, and developing rate structures for ocean freight
- Solid Analytical Skills and proficiency in Data Analysis to interpret and manage pricing data effectively
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders
- Knowledge of Finance with the ability to understand cost structures, margins, and profitability
- Experience in Sales and a customer-oriented mindset to support business initiatives
- Attention to detail and proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, ERP systems)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
- Prior experience in ocean export pricing, freight forwarding, or logistics is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
