Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with solid accounting and finance domain expertise to support a Core Banking Transformation program , working closely with the CFO Office and Finance teams .

The role will focus on General Ledger (GL), financial accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements as part of the core banking upgrade.

n

The candidate will act as a bridge between Finance, Technology, and the Core Banking implementation teams , ensuring that accounting requirements are accurately captured, documented, and implemented.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Work closely with the CFO office, Finance Controllers, and Accounting teams to gather and document business requirements related to General Ledger and financial accounting .

n

Analyze the impact of the core banking upgrade on finance processes , including:

n

GL postings accounting entries reconciliation processes financial reporting

n

Define functional requirements, BRDs, and process documentation for finance-related modules.

n

Ensure accurate mapping of accounting entries from core banking modules to the GL .

n

Collaborate with technology teams and core banking vendors to translate finance requirements into system configurations.

n

Support finance UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate accounting outputs.

n





Work on chart of accounts alignment, accounting rules, and posting logic .

n

Identify gaps in financial controls, reconciliation, and reporting during the transformation.

n

Ensure compliance with banking accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements .

n

Facilitate workshops between Finance, Technology, and implementation partners .

n

Required Skills & Experience

n

~10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.

n

~ Strong understanding of banking finance and accounting processes .

n

~ Deep knowledge of:

n

~ General Ledger (GL)

n

~ financial postings

n

~ reconciliation

n

~ chart of accounts

n

~ accounting rules in core banking systems

n

~ Experience working with CFO office / finance transformation programs .

n

~ Experience in core banking transformation or upgrade programs .

n

~ Strong experience in BRD, FRD, and functional documentation .

n

~ Experience supporting UAT and finance validation .

n

~ Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

n

Preferred Experience

n

Understanding of banking financial reporting and regulatory reporting

n

Experience with core banking platforms such as:

Temenos T24

n

Oracle Flexcube

n

Finacle

n

Mambu
