Role Description

n

We are seeking a full time, remote AI Engineer to join the Chartered Vectorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for building AI-powered products end-to-end, from architecture and agent design to deployment and iteration. Daily work includes developing LLM-powered integrations, architecting RAG pipelines, building full-stack applications, and orchestrating multi-agent workflows that solve real enterprise problems. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver working, production-grade solutions.

Compensation for this role ranges from ₹6–8 LPA. Details will be discussed through the hiring process.

Qualifications

n

- 1–3 years of experience in software development,



or equivalent depth through personal projects, open-source contributions, or intensive programs
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or similar, with strong understanding of prompting, context management, and model behaviour
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma
- Full-stack development capability, ability to build backends, integrate LLMs, and deliver functional frontends
- Demonstrated ability to orchestrate and steer AI agents effectively in a remote-first environment
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- Background in building MCP servers or tool-use integrations is a plus
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot Workspace is a plus
- Personal projects, demos, or open-source contributions showcasing AI-powered applications are a plus
