Aegis Talent Solutions is conducting an exclusive search on behalf of a leading US-focused financial advisory firm. We are looking for a highly experienced CA + LLB professional based in India who has deep, hands-on experience working with US companies, US clients, and the US tax system.

This is a purely US tax-focused role. Only apply if your experience is rooted in US taxation.

Role Responsibilities

n

- Prepare and review US federal and state income tax returns - Form 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 990
- Advise clients on US tax planning strategies to minimize federal and state tax liabilities
- Handle IRS correspondence, notices, audits, and resolution matters
- Provide guidance on S-Corporation and LLC formation, structuring, and ongoing tax compliance
- Advise on US capital gains tax, estate and gift tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
- Support clients on cryptocurrency taxation under IRS guidelines (Form 8949, Schedule D)
- Assist with FBAR and FATCA compliance for US persons with foreign assets
- Advise on US-India cross-border tax matters, including treaty benefits under the US-India DTAA
- Support transfer pricing documentation for US multinational clients




- Conduct US tax research and prepare technical memorandums on complex tax issues
- Assist in CFO-level advisory services for US-based business owners and high-income individuals
- Stay current with IRS regulatory changes, Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) updates, and US tax law developments

Requirements

n
- Qualified CA + LLB (both mandatory)
- Minimum 10 years of experience - majority must be in US taxation
- Must have worked with a US CPA firm, Big 4 (US tax division), or US-based financial advisory company while based in India
- Strong working knowledge of IRS compliance, US GAAP, and US federal/state tax codes
- Hands-on experience with US tax software - UltraTax, ProConnect, Drake, or similar
- Familiarity with US entity structures - C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, Partnership, Sole Proprietorship
- Experience advising NRIs, US expats, or high-net-worth US individuals preferred
- Excellent English communication skills - comfortable working directly with US-based clients and stakeholders across time zones
- Must have their own laptop and secure Wi-Fi
- 6.30PM - 3.30AM IST
- Sat & Sun are off
