Senior Mechanical Engineer (Manager / Sr. Manager) – ESP & Dedusting SystemsExperience: 15+ Years Industry: Iron & Steel / EPCM / Heavy EngineeringLocation: Bengaluru / Kolkata EmploymentType: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design and engineering of Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and dedusting systems for iron and steel plants. This role demands solid technical expertise combined with project leadership and client engagement capabilities, supporting EPCM and PMC assignments.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering & Design· Lead the mechanical design and engineering of:o Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP)o Bag filters, cyclones, scrubbers, and other dedusting systems· Prepare and review:o GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed engineering documentso Equipment sizing, pressure drop calculations, and system layouts· Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications---Project Management· Act as Lead Mechanical Engineer for assigned projects· Plan, monitor,

and control engineering deliverables, schedules, and budgets· Ensure timely submission of deliverables as per project milestones· Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies· Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams (process, electrical, civil, instrumentation)· Support procurement, construction, and commissioning phases---Client Management & Stakeholder Engagement· Serve as the primary technical interface with clients for ESP and dedusting systems· Lead client-facing discussions, technical presentations, and design reviews· Understand client requirements and translate them into engineering solutions· Manage client expectations, resolve technical queries, and ensure satisfaction· Participate in kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and steering discussions· Build and maintain long-term client relationships---Vendor & Site Support· Evaluate and finalize vendors and suppliers· Review vendor drawings
