About the Role

We are hiring a Data Governance Specialist (Hybrid Cloud)
Locations: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Noida
Work Model: Only 2 days office (Hybrid)
Experience: 10+ Years
Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days

Level: Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance for implementing Microsoft Purview classification and labeling across on-premises NetApp file shares.
Configure the Purview scanner ruleset to utilize Sensitive Information Types (SITs) for consistent data classification.
Identify and onboard one on-prem SQL database and one GCP SQL database into the Microsoft Purview Data Map.




Guide the setup of a Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR) to support scanning of the on-premises database.
Create and run a classification scan ruleset across the pilot databases and deliver a final classification report with recommendations.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
Technical expertise in implementing Microsoft Purview Information Protection for on-premises data stores, specifically NetApp file shares.
Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Purview Data Map for onboarding both on-premises (SQL) and cloud (GCP SQL) databases.
Knowledge of setting up and configuring a Self-hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR).
Ability to create and run classification scan rulesets, deliver reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
