SECTION II: JOB SUMMARY

Testing & R&D; (BESS) will support the design validation, testing, and development activities related to Battery Energy Storage Systems. The role includes hands-on testing, lab management, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability, safety, and performance.

SECTION III: DO – KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Job Responsibilities

·Plan and execute validation and reliability testing for lithium-ion battery packs and BESS systems.

- Manage day-to-day operations of the testing lab, ensuring safe practices and compliance with standards (e.g., IEC, UL, ISO).

- Develop test plans and protocols for performance, environmental, and safety testing.

- Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to design and quality teams.

- Support root cause analysis for test failures and assist in implementing corrective actions.

- Coordinate with R&D;, product engineering, and quality teams for current product development and improvement projects.

- Ensure calibration and maintenance of all test equipment and infrastructure.

- Participate in regulatory compliance and certification testing.

- Monitor industry trends, standards, and innovations in battery storage technologies.

- Support pilot builds and field performance testing as needed.

Job Description

Handling the machines and its operations as per standards and monitor the records which are defined for product validation cycle and prepare the reports , responsible for getting the product to be validated in third party labs as per standard requirement.

Should aware of compliances , testing standards , safety protocols , electrical standards and capable of handling the test and provide feedback to R&D; system on product, responsible for presenting the product for approval as per compliances & provide improvements and defining MTBF of products

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills

- MS Office & Project,

- Knowledge of SAP is preferred

Experience levels required to execute this role

E.g. 2-5 yrs of experience as an Electrical Engineering in Battery/Solar Grid

Specific Experience

- 10 - 15 years in electric engineering in Battery/Automative.

Over all Experience

- 10 - 15 years in electric engineering in Battery/Automative.
