Facility Executive

Location : Kolkata Leather Complex, Bantala

Responsible for Factory Maintenance & Administrative activities This position reports to the Manager.

Essential Maintenance Functions:

- Plans, schedules, and assigns the daily activities of facility maintenance personnel to ensure that buildings, systems, structures, equipment, grounds, and other transit-related amenities are fully operational, clean, and ready to meet service support requirements.
- Manages all AMC contracts
- Initiates and reviews work orders for facility maintenance activities; and inspects/supervises work in progress to ensure all jobs are executed according to industry repair standards, completed on schedule, and released in a protected and clean manner.
- Establishes and adjusts priorities for the maintenance, repair, and/or modification of agency-owned facilities, transit-related amenities, and related equipment in accordance with work demands, critical nature, resources, and manpower availability.
- Makes informed decisions on facility maintenance repairs, consults with the Director for guidance.
- Ensures that all policies, procedures, and work rules are followed.
- Monitors employee attendance and biometric devices; maintains discipline through equal application of all rules, procedures, policies and the Labour Agreement; and documents and recommends any necessary discipline to GM
- Coordinates building/factory related procurements from market
- Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.

Required Qualifications : Graduate / Diploma





Desired Experience:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in area of facilities management preferably in the manufacturing sector

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

- Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, practices, occupational hazards, and safety precautions used in the maintenance and repair of facilities and associated systems including, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical equipment plumbing etc.
- Fire safety procedures and systems
- Knowledge of the principles of supervision.
- Knowledge of safety codes and state regulations applying to occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.
- Ability to direct staff in continuous efforts to improve quality, productivity and effectiveness to ensure company goals are met.
- Ability to deal effectively with others by defusing conflict and creating long-term relationships.
- Ability to prepare and face 3rd party social audits.
- MS Office skills (Word and Excel); ability to navigate the Internet and Intranet to gain information or process web-based forms.
- Ability to train, supervise, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to continually multi-task and prioritize work, meeting schedules and deadlines.

Salary : From 1.80 lakhs/annum to 2.40 lakhs/annum CTC. Higher salary may be considered for exceptional candidates

Age: Around 25-28 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
