WHAT WE DO

nFlytBase builds the world's leading drone autonomy software, powering operations for 300+ customers in 40+ countries—including Fortune 500 companies like Xcel Energy, Airbus, and Anglo American. Check out some of our critical deployments here. Headquartered in California with a fast-moving engineering base in Pune, FlytBase is powering the shift from human-operated to self-driven skies. The company operates at AI speed, with autonomy and intelligence at its core. Our lean team works in a high-agency, high-velocity environment where AI isn't a side project, it's the operating system for how we think, build, and grow.n

THE ROLE

nYou own product strategy and architecture for a major area of FlytBase's drone autonomy platform. You're the person who decides what we build, for whom, and why we win — then you build it yourself to prove it works before handing it to engineering. This isn't a "strategy PM" role where you write docs and other people execute. Every PM at FlytBase can take a problem and ship a working prototype — that's the baseline. On top of that, you bring the strategic depth to reframe markets, the technical depth to debate architecture with engineers as a peer, and the judgment to make high-stakes platform decisions with incomplete information.n

You think in systems: every choice affects the API, partner ecosystem, and every other product surface built on FlytBase's Physical AI infrastructure.

n

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

nProduct strategy for a major platform area — roadmap, competitive positioning, pricing, market entry decisions Deep customer discovery across verticals — regulations, workflows, organizational dynamics,

buying processes Building solutions from problem to prototype — you validate with users before committing engineering resources Platform-level technical decisions — authorization models, real-time architectures, data schemas, API contracts Competitive intelligence and positioning — battle cards, narrative development, market reframing Go-to-market strategy — pricing models, packaging, partner ecosystem decisions Risk assessment across domains — auditability, security, regulatory compliance, graceful degradation Foundational architectural choices that seem distant but become catastrophic if ignoredn

BEST SUITED FOR

n5+ years owning product strategy, not just execution — you've made the "what do we build and why do we win" decisions Hand-on building experience — you can go from problem to working prototype yourself, not just write requirements Technical depth to debate architecture with engineers as a peer — schema designs, API contracts, platform trade-offs Experience reframing product problems — you've changed what teams built, not just how they prioritized AI-native workflow — you use AI daily for strategy, synthesis, and building,

not just documentation Platform thinking — you instinctively consider second and third-order effects across the entire ecosystem Comfort with ambiguity — you've made high-stakes decisions with incomplete information in fast-moving environments Experience in category creation or emerging markets — building something customers don't know they need yetn

WHAT MAKES YOU A FLYTER

n

Builder-first mentality: You prototype your own ideas rather than writing specs for others to interpret.

n

Platform instinct: Every decision you make accounts for how it affects the broader ecosystem and future possibilities.

n

Intellectual courage: You're comfortable being the person who says "we're solving the wrong problem" even when roadmaps are set.

n

AI leverage: You treat AI as a co-reasoner for strategy and architecture, not just a productivity tool.

n

Customer obsession with business depth: You understand not just user workflows but organizational pain, buying processes, and competitive dynamics.

n

WHAT WE DON'T WANT

nStrategy PMs who haven't built anything in years — you write docs and other people execute. PMs whose technical conversations are limited to reading engineering updates and asking status questions. Consensus-builders who need organizational alignment over conviction and speed to be effective. People who've only worked in established categories with known playbooks and clear competitive landscapes. PMs who view AI as something their team uses rather than something central to their own daily workflow. Anyone who needs large teams, formal OKRs, and quarterly planning cycles to be productive.n

WHY FLYTBASE?

n

H3 Philosophy: We're building a company that's Happy, Healthy, AND High-Performing. Not as a balance—as a harmony. We move fast without burning out.

n

Radical Ownership: You won't need permission to experiment, build, or lead. If you see a problem, you own the solution.

n

Mazaa Aayega: Our internal motto. Yes, the work is int
