Job Title - SAP Data Migration Consultant Location - Remote

n

Requirements: -

n

4+ years in SAP projects with strong focus on data migration and/or integration.

n

Solid understanding of SAP data objects and dependencies in MM, SD, FI/CO (and PP/EWM if relevant).

n

Very solid Excel and data analysis skills (lookups, pivots, complex formulas).

n

Comfortable liaising with both business and technical teams.

n

Good understanding of retail / grocery data specifics (preferred)

n

Key Responsibilities:-

n

Own the functional side of data migration: scope, mapping, business rules, and sign-off criteria.

n

Create and maintain mapping files (legacy → SAP)



for master and transactional data across modules.

n

Work with business data owners on cleansing and enrichment activities.

n

Plan and support trial loads with the SAP partner; validate results and log issues.

n

Perform detailed reconciliation between legacy and SAP data for quantities and values.

n

Support integration testing for key flows: POS → SAP, WMS/EWM → SAP, legacy apps → SAP.

n

Help define and execute cutover data steps (freeze dates, delta loads, final reconciliation).

n

During go-live and hypercare, monitor data-related incidents and coordinate fixes.

n

Document data migration and integration lessons learned and hand over to the client's permanent IT/BI team
