Roles and Responsibilities





- Acquisition of new business with the Key Account in the region

- Negotiates price by agreement with the Global Key Account Manager together with Sales

- Ensures transparency concerning the customer's target prices and competitors' prices

- Responsible for following up quotations given to the Key Account

- Coordinates in-house exhibitions and presentations, top management events and meetings

- Observes technological trends and requirements and the activities of the competition

- Identifies and records the Key Account customer requirements

- Carries out the sales planning with regard to the Key Account in the region



- Leads the account strategy in all aspects of growth and profitability including customer growth and spending analysis, integrated account planning, opportunity identification, cash & receivables, and value communication.

- Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).

- Lead the sales team to develop and execute account growth strategies and Account Planning.

- Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.

- Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities.

- Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at strategic customer accounts.

- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing.

- Help sales team grow installed base and develop new customer contacts, document installed base and gaps.

- Manage travel and living expense budget.

- Perform periodic account reviews with management.





Desired Candidate Profile





1) A candidate for this position must have had a minimum of 3 years in working experience in a marketing or sales position, preferably working as junior personnel in the account management department.



2) The candidate will have proven problem solving and decision making skills. A suitable candidate will also have demonstrated a great deal of sales experience, possessing an ability to drive sales and having met and even exceeded business targets.



3)Communication skills are a major requirement of this position. The Key Account Manager is tasked with handling high-value business clients and should, therefore, be able to consistently address those consumer concerns while offering clear, concise, and understandable responses to their prompts.



4) The Key Account Manager must also portray interest and skills in standard planning and operational analytics practices. The candidate must demonstrate ability to process raw consumer information and data and translate it into actionable insights such as new sales opportunities and strategies.



5) As may be required from time to time the incumbent may be required to working slots catering to different time zones
