vConstruct, a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks a proactive, process-oriented and technically sound on-site L1/L2 IT Support Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware deployment, IT logistics, day to day support for AV equipment, laptops, mobiles, and other IT hardware including but not limited to end user support across multiple office locations in India either in person or via remote support.

You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to ensure smooth operation of field systems and gain valuable experience in real-world IT environments.

Responsibilities

Technical Support: Troubleshoot, resolve, and prioritize technical issues for laptops, mobile devices (iOS/Android), Audio & Video Equipment and local/network devices.

Infrastructure Deployment: Assist in the staging, configuration, and physical deployment of IT hardware (Workstations and Networking gear) across regional office locations.

Infrastructure Management: Install and maintain equipment/networks at different offices, manage the mobilization/demobilization of IT equipment as and when needed, and coordinate infrastructure design with project teams.

Field Support: Provide on-site technical assistance to the end users, handle L2 escalations ensuring that project-specific hardware and software are functioning optimally.

Administration & Process: Track incidents and assets in ticketing tool, document best practices, ensure system security, and participate in company-wide IT projects.

Customer Service: Provide training, maintain strong user relationships,



and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.

Requirements

Skills: Sound knowledge in networking (Cisco/Meraki, TCP/IP), Microsoft Office 365, and troubleshooting. Ability to generate automation scripts and support video conferencing hardware.

Experience: 3+ years in technical support or relevant IT infrastructure support. Experience in the AEC industry is a plus.

Education & Certifications: Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred, alongside ITIL, CompTIA A+/Network+, or CCNA/MCSA certifications.

Conditions: The role requires flexibility to travel and work from regional offices and probable visits during the weekend if required

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or similar field

Have knowledge and passion with technology

Strong interest in IT infrastructure, hardware support, and field operations.

Knowledge of mobile device management, asset management practices, network and systems

Hands-on skills with Dell/HP Laptop/workstation and peripherals, Capable to support on Mac OS or basic hardware troubleshooting

Understanding of Microsoft 365 products, Outlook, Exchange & Microsoft Entra ID

Understands troubleshooting methods with logic and has passion to resolve IT issues





Willingness to learn and grow with technological advancements

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Understanding of networking and systems, Networking protocols (DHCP, FTP/SFTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP stack) & remote access tools

Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision or guidance

Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills & Ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Effective participation in team environment & A strong work ethic and a “can-do”

attitude

Comfortable to travel as and when necessary to multiple offices

Flexible to work and travel between regional offices
