Role Summary

nWee seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Merchandising & Pricing Platforms team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of systems that manage item setup, catalog data, pricing calculations, and promotional workflows using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, and cloud-native architectures.n

Youll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to learn, build, and deliver reliable features. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with solid fundamentals, curiosity, and a growth mindset who is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

n

Contribute to the development of full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and Angular/React with TypeScript on the frontend.

n

Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and test scalable features and applications.

n

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices.

n

Assist in integrating front-end and back-end components through RESTful APIs.

n

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities to ensure quality and performance.

n

Learn and apply modern software development practices, including CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies.

n

Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants)



as part of daily engineering workflows to accelerate development velocity and code quality.

n

Support production systems and assist with troubleshooting under guidance from senior team members.

n

Actively learn the merchandising and pricing domain to build context for effective contributions.

Requirements

n

Years of Experience

n01 years of software development experience (internships, projects, or academic coursework acceptable).n

Basic Qualifications

nHands-on exposure to Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, and modern web technologies.n

Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and software development best practices.

n

Strong communication skills and a desire to grow as a full-stack engineer.

n

AI-native mindset demonstrated willingness to use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants) as part of everyday engineering practice.

n

Preferred Qualifications

nInternship or academic project experience in web application development.n

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) through coursework or personal projects.

n

Familiarity with containerization concepts (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.

n

Interest in retail, eCommerce, or enterprise technology domains.

n

Experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, or learning.
