Responsibilities:
Research global and national developments, trends, and high-interest topics.
Write scripts for short-form and long-form video content across news, current affairs, history, culture, and internet-driven conversations.
Turn complex subjects into simple, engaging, and easy-to-follow narratives.
Create solid hooks, clean structure, and high-retention storytelling for digital audiences.
Work closely with editors, researchers, and video editors to ensure smooth execution.
Add context, relevance, and depth to stories without making them feel heavy or boring.
Track what people are talking about and identify topics worth converting into content.

Qualifications:




Strong writing skills with a clear sense of structure, tone, and storytelling.
Deep interest in news, current affairs, world events, culture, history, and how the internet reacts to them.
Ability to simplify complex topics without losing meaning.
Understanding of short-form content and what holds attention in the first few seconds.
Strong research instincts and attention to factual accuracy.
Ability to work rapid and think clearly under deadlines.
Prior experience in journalism, content writing, explainer writing, research, or script writing is a plus.
