Hiring: Lead – Charging Interoperability Test Engineer (EV Domain)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead – Charging Interoperability Test Engineer to drive end-to-end EV charging validation at vehicle and system level. The role involves AC/DC charging compatibility, vehicle-to-charger communication, and real-world interoperability testing.

️ Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end InterOp validation for AC & DC charging systems
• Define and review test cases for lab & road environments
• Plan and execute Loop-1 & Mini-Loop testing across EVSE types
• Perform issue triage, root cause analysis & defect tracking (SIMs/BUGs)
• Lead DV testing, log analysis & validation of fixes
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for execution & closure
• Ensure compliance with ISO 15118, IEC 61851, DIN 70121 & ISO 26262
• Provide regular status updates & documentation

✅ Required Skills




• 8–12+ years in EV charging / InterOp testing
• Solid experience in AC/DC charging & vehicle-level validation
• Expertise in CCS, Type-1, Type-2, CHAdeMO, GB/T, NACS
• Knowledge of CAN, PLC, Ethernet, DoIP
• Experience in InterOp road testing

⭐ Preferred Skills
• Experience with 400V / 800V HV systems
• Hands-on with Vector / ETAS tools
• HV Safety certification (AP/SAP)
• Valid driving license (Class 2 / 3)

Tools
• Vector CAN, Ethernet & PLC logging tools
• ETAS INCA
• DoIP Cable
