Your Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with relevant media; day-to-day contact to pitch stories and generate coverage
Candidate should be proactive and result oriented. Should be able to spot opportunities for clients on his/her own without external push
Take a brief from a client,



assess and recommend media opportunities
Track media movements, event participation and speaker opportunities for clients
Be able to advise clients and the team on the latest trends in media
Prepare first draft of pitch notes, opinion articles, press releases, case studies, quotes, reports, etc. in a timely manner
Handle press conferences, media invites, attendance, and follow-ups
Collate and report media coverage, monthly reports and coverage dossiers to the client along with analysis and recommendations on next steps
Be able to put together research and ideas for proposals and pitches

Media Relations: (50%)

Recent Business: (10%)

The must-haves:
Master’s degree preferred
0-1 years of relevant experience (Previous relevant experience in PR via placement year, or internship would be desirable but not essential)
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Highly organised and solution-oriented
Detail-oriented and able to prioritize
Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure
