Job Title: Chef de Partie (CDP) – Indian Cuisine
Location: Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka
Experience Required: 8–10 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian cuisine to join our culinary team in Chikkamagaluru. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in regional Indian cooking, excellent kitchen management skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Indian dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., Tandoor, Curry, or South Indian section) efficiently
Ensure mise en place is completed on time and meets quality expectations
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and commis chefs
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with the Head Chef/Sous Chef on menu planning and new dish development
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen section
Required Skills & Qualifications
8–10 years of professional kitchen experience, with a strong focus on Indian cuisine
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
Expertise in regional Indian cooking (North Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, etc.)
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Good leadership and team management skills
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
