Job Summary
Ryder Shipping Lines is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support and strengthen our business development efforts in the freight forwarding sector. The role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining solid relationships with customers, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver efficient logistics solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international freight forwarding (air & sea), and logistics solutions , along with the ability to drive revenue growth in achieving organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop recent business opportunities in freight forwarding (Import & Export – Air and Sea).
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers .
Drive sales in achieving monthly and annual revenue targets .
Prepare sales plans, client presentations, and proposals for logistics solutions.
Coordinate with pricing, customer service, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.




Manage key accounts and ensure high customer satisfaction .
Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve client concerns.
Maintain regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance reports .
Conduct client meetings and business development activities .

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain operations .
Understanding of air freight, sea freight, pricing, and documentation .
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills .
Ability to generate leads and convert them into business opportunities .
Strong problem-solving abilities .
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment .

Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales.
Proven track record in business development and client acquisition .
