Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the full accounting cycle for our Weaving vertical. You will handle day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, compliance, cost tracking, government schemes, and support strategic decision-making for this high-volume production unit. This is a hands-on role best suited for a detail-oriented professional with solid manufacturing/textile industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts for the weaving vertical.
• Prepare accurate Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, schedules, and detailed management MIS reports.
• Handle GST returns, TDS calculations & filings, and ensure full statutory and tax compliances.
• Manage banking operations including bank reconciliations, payments, and facility-related documentation.
• Handle government subsidy claims, EPCG schemes, MOOWR (Manufacturing and Other Operations in Warehouse Regulations), and other export/production-related incentives and compliances.
• Perform ledger scrutiny,



necessary adjustment entries, and ensure accurate financial records.
• Track production costs, inventory valuation, raw material consumption, and weaving-specific expenses with accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and buyers.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and provide timely documentation and clarifications.
• Monitor cash flow, assist in budgeting, and contribute to cost control initiatives.
• Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable) and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and process discipline.
• Collaborate closely with production, purchase, and merchandising teams for seamless financial operations.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of post-qualification experience as Senior Accountant, with proven expertise in textile / weaving / manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP, GST portal, TDS compliance, banking operations, and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of inventory costing, manufacturing cost sheets, government schemes (subsidy, EPCG, MOOWR, etc.), and accounting standards.
• Experience in finalization of accounts, audit coordination, and statutory compliances.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination.
