As our Founding Engineer, you aren’t just writing code; you are building the foundation of a category-defining platform. You will have total ownership of the tech stack, from architectural decisions to deployment, helping us navigate the "zero-to-one" journey and scale an experience that solves real-world needs for parents.
The Role
This is a high-autonomy role for a builder who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You will bridge the gap between ambitious product visions and robust, scalable reality.
Architecture & Build: Own the end-to-end development of our platform, ensuring the stack is scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Rapid Prototyping: Build, test, and iterate on features at high velocity to find product-market fit.
Product Partnership:
Collaborate directly with the founders to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
Engineering Culture: Set the standards for code quality, documentation, and the future engineering hiring bar.
Who You Are
The Zero-to-One Builder: You have 2+ years of experience building and shipping functional products.
Full-Stack Fluency: You are comfortable across the stack (e.g., React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar modern frameworks) and have a strong grasp of database design and API integrations, even if your expertise lies in only one of these areas.
Entrepreneurial Grit: You are comfortable with ambiguity. You don’t wait for a perfect Jira ticket; you figure out what needs to be built and you ship it.
Product-Minded Engineer: You don't just build what is asked; you think about the end-user (the parent) and suggest better ways to solve their problems.
Background: Strong academic background from a top-tier institution is preferred, but not mandatory.
