System Architect

Objectives:

Development of the system architecture and its decomposition into subsystems (platform, modules, and components) that can be allocated to discipline architects. A system architect must be trained in architecture, as well as requirements for engineering and business management skills.

Activities to be performed as a system architect:

- Analyze system requirements and special characteristics
- Ensure high degree of reusability
- Identify synergies across projects
- Define system architecture, together with discipline architects (or experts)
- Decompose system architecture to sub-systems
- Decompose requirements to the subsystem level.
- Define system internal interworking requirements on the subsystem level.
- Participate actively in knowledge transfer

Required skills:

- Knowledge on DFMEA, ISO26262 certification, and Security & Privacy
- Knowledge on SW,



EE and ME design
- Knowledge on communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, SDIO, LVDS
- Knowledge on FOTA concept implementation
- Knowledge on microcontroller interfaces and architecture.
- Technical overview and experience on system design and integration
- Analysis and coordination competences (Analytic thinking)
- Knowledge of project management
- Knowledge on product life cycle
- Presentation and moderation techniques
- Work experience on customer interaction and Issue management

Valuable to have:

- Knowledge on Electric vehicle architecture
- Knowledge on tools like Rhapsody, Doors, Visio, Vector Canoe
- Knowledge on module-based design concept
