o Provide ongoing analysis of regulatory changes and assess their impact on our business operations.
2. Data Privacy Assessments:
o Conduct data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs) and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks in recent projects or existing operations.
o Perform audits of data processing activities and assist with the creation of data flow maps and documentation.
3. Policy and Procedure Development:
o Develop, review, and implement data protection policies, procedures, and practices in line with applicable regulations.
o Assist teams with drafting and reviewing contracts, including data processing agreements, third-party contracts, and vendor management.
4. Training and Awareness:
o Develop and deliver data privacy and security training for employees at various levels of the organization.
o Create materials to increase organizational awareness of data privacy and security best practices.
5. Ongoing Monitoring and Reporting:
o Continuously monitor data privacy risks and compliance status, offering clients updates and recommendations for improvements.
o Prepare and deliver regular reports for senior leadership and clients regarding privacy compliance and risk management status.
6. Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal teams, IT, and other departments to ensure data privacy is integrated across business processes.
o Serve as the key point of contact for clients regarding data privacy concerns.
