About the Role:

The Full-Stack Data Engineer at Collinson will play a key role in delivering customer-focused global solutions by designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines in AWS and other cloud environments. This hands-on position involves driving innovation, modernizing the data landscape, and mentoring junior team members. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and delivering impactful, data-driven solutions.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

1. Extensive experience leading AWS and cloud data platform transformations
2. Proven track record of delivering large-scale data and analytical solutions in a cloud environment
3. Hands-on experience with end-to-end data pipeline implementation on AWS, including data preparation, extraction, transformation & loading, normalization,



aggregation, warehousing, data lakes, and data governance
4. Expertise in developing Data Warehouses
5. In-depth understanding of modern data architecture such as Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh
6. Solid knowledge of data architecture and data modelling practices
7. Cost-effective management of data pipelines
8. Familiarity with CI/CD driven data pipeline and infrastructure
9. Agile delivery approach using Scrum and Kanban methodologies
10. Ability to scope, estimate, and deliver committed work within deadlines, both independently and as part of an agile team
11. Supporting QA and user acceptance testing processes
12. Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to provide clear recommendations
13. Understanding of the impact of changes to business rules on data processes
14. Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially in regard to data solutions and outcomes
15. Experience managing and leading a small team of data engineers
16. Self-driven and constantly seeking opportunities to improve data processes
17. Strong knowledge of how data drives analytical and reporting activities, including automated marketing and personalization capabilities
