Job title: SAP SD Functional Consultant (S4 HANA)
MUST have 10+ years of experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution module) with 6+ years of SAP S4 HANA exposure on S4 implementations.
Location: Eastern Hemisphere preferred (Offshore) - Will work India hours
Duration - through April 2027 Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA SD Functional Consultant to lead and deliver end to end Order to Cash (OTC) solutions as part of global SAP S/4 HANA implementation and rollout programs.
The role requires deep hands on configuration expertise, strong business process knowledge, and proven experience working in complex, integrated S/4 landscapes with multiple workstreams and external systems.
The consultant will act as a functional SME, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and system integrators to design, build, test, and deploy scalable SD solutions aligned with global templates and regional requirements. Key Responsibilities S/4 HANA SD Solution Design & Delivery
Deliver end to end SAP SD / OTC objects for S/4 HANA implementation for APAC.
Drive AS IS / TO BE process discussions, fit gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
Configure and support core SD components including:
Sales documents, item categories, schedule lines
Pricing (condition records, access sequences, pricing procedures)
Output management
Copy controls and partner determination
Billing (invoices, credit/debit memos, pro forma)
Interfaces connected with OTC workstream Advanced S/4 HANA SD Capabilities
Nice to Have: Hands on experience with Condition Contract Management (CCM) / Settlement Management.
Nice to Have: Strong understanding of rebates, accruals, partial and final settlements in S/4 HANA.
Experience in working with Business Partner, Fiori applications, and new features available as part of S4. Integration & Cross Module Collaboration
Work closely with:
FI/CO – account determination, revenue posting, settlement, tax integration
MM / EWM / TM – delivery,



picking, shipping, freight, stock availability
GTS – compliance, trade management Build, Test & Deployment
Prepare and review Functional Design Documents (FDD/FSD) and interface specifications.
Support and lead SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Hypercare phases.
Collaborate with ABAP and integration teams for WRICEF developments.
Ensure adherence to global template standards while supporting local legal and business requirements. Stakeholder & Delivery Management
Act as a trusted functional advisor to business and IT leadership.
Coordinate with partners, offshore/onshore teams, and regional business users.
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for AMS and support teams.
Support defect resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience Mandatory
10+ years of hands on SAP SD experience. 6+ on S4 HANA.
Strong S/4 HANA SD implementation experience (at least three or more full lifecycle). We are not looking for a resource that covers only support.
Deep expertise in Order to Cash (OTC) processes. Hands on configuration experience in:
Pricing & billing
Partner determination
Output management
Sales Orders, Deliveries, Goods Issue, and Billing.
Nice to have: Strong knowledge of CCM / Settlement Management in S/4 HANA.
Experience working in large, global, multi country SAP programs.
Strong functional documentation and testing experience.
Experience working with multiple SD interfaces to external systems. Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience in a ATP, complex pricing, and promotion settlement scenarios.
Experience with CPI / EDI troubleshooting.
Prior experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or Retail industries. Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead functional design areas.
Comfortable working in fast paced, large scale transformation programs.
Detail oriented with robust analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams.
