Job Title: Senior Data Engineer / Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced with Senior Data Engineer / Solution Architect 12+ years of expertise in building scalable, high-performance data platforms. This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture design capabilities, and hands-on experience with modern data ecosystems to drive enterprise-level data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and implement scalable data platforms and pipelines
- Lead end-to-end development of ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data systems
- Define and enforce data engineering standards, best practices, and governance
- Design and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to deliver data solutions
- Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and reliability improvements
- Drive cloud data strategy and platform modernization initiatives
- Mentor and guide data engineering teams; conduct code and design reviews
- Ensure data security, compliance, and quality frameworks are implemented





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala
- Solid experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Deep expertise in data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse)
- Strong experience with ETL tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica)
- Expertise in data modeling (dimensional, normalized, and lakehouse models)
- Experience designing real-time and batch data processing systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Spark Streaming)
- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines and feature engineering
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Prior experience in leading teams or managing projects
