Role Purpose:
The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a high-visibility, high-impact role acting as the primary strategic partner and "force multiplier" for the Head of Online Business. You will sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that long-term goals are met while managing the daily operational pulse of the business.
The ideal candidate is part Strategic Advisor, part Data Auditor, and part Operational Lead -someone who can build a board-level deck in the morning and audit a sales pipeline for leakages in the afternoon.
Responsibilities we entrust you with:
Strategic Planning & Executive Narrative
- Strategy & Insights: Assist in defining business priorities and translating them into actionable workstreams.
- Executive Storytelling: Create high-quality presentations (Decks) for Board meetings, leadership reviews, and external stakeholders, turning complex data into a explicit narrative.
- Project Management: Lead "special projects" that are cross-functional in nature and do not have a natural departmental home.
Sales Operations & Metrics Governance
- Single Source of Truth: Own the business dashboard. Ensure that Sales, Finance, and Product are aligned on the same KPIs and that data is consistent across all reporting tools.
- Audit & Compliance: Perform regular audits on the Sales CRM to ensure pipeline integrity. Verify that sales stages and deal values are accurate and that discounting policies are strictly followed.
- Metric Deep-Dives: Conduct variance analysis to investigate "the why" behind the numbers—identifying if a miss is due to market conditions, operational friction, or data hygiene issues.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- The "Operational Glue": Drive alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance. Ensure that dependencies are identified and blockers are cleared.
- Meeting Management: Manage the agenda and follow-ups for leadership meetings, ensuring that high-level decisions are actually executed on the ground.
Executive Operations & Logistics
- Travel & Offsites: End-to-end planning of complex international and domestic travel. Design and execute high-impact team offsites, balancing strategic content with team-building logistics.
- Priority Triage: Protect the executive’s time by filtering requests and ensuring focus remains on the highest-leverage activities.
