About The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join us in Bengaluru, working within our product and technology teams that support the continued evolution of our EquiLend Spire platform. This team plays a key role in connecting clients across the securities finance ecosystem by delivering scalable, integrated solutions that improve efficiency across the full trade lifecycle.

In this role, you will help translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support the delivery of critical platform enhancements and client integrations. You will work closely with engineering, QA and stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet both client expectations and regulatory demands. This is an opportunity to contribute to products that underpin global securities finance operations while developing strong domain and technical expertise.

What You'll Do

- Gather, analyse and document business requirements, functional specifications and process workflows
- Develop and maintain detailed data mappings to support integrations between client systems and our platform
- Partner with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately
- Support testing activities through test case reviews, validation of outputs and issue tracking
- Contribute to Agile delivery by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups and backlog refinement using Jira
- Communicate progress, risks and updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Assist in the delivery of reporting solutions and user interface improvements aligned to business needs

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, capital markets or fintech environments




- Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder collaboration
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira for user story creation and tracking
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and work with data
- Basic SQL knowledge with the ability to query and validate datasets
- Clear written and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in a collaborative workplace
