Exciting Opportunity Alert! ? HTC Global Services is hiring Data Engineer – SAP Data sphere & ETL Developer for an Airline Project.

Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our SAC Workforce Planning implementation. You will work in a high-synergy partnership with the Lead SAC Planning Consultant, taking full ownership of the data supply chain. Your mission is to architect a seamless flow of employee, position, and cost data from SuccessFactors and Databricks into SAC Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring the planning models are accurate, automated, and performant.

Key Activities (Technical Support & Integration)

- SAC Planning Support: Partner directly with the SAC Consultant to design and optimize the Data Layer in Datasphere that feeds the SAC Planning Model. Ensure all dimensions (Org Units, Cost Centers, Employee IDs) and measures (FTE, Salary, Benefits) are perfectly aligned.
- SuccessFactors Extraction (Snapshotting): Develop and manage complex extraction logic from SuccessFactors (via OData/Compound Employee API) to create "point-in-time" snapshots—essential for attrition analysis and budget-vs-actual variance.
- Advanced Data Transformation (Databricks): Use Databricks (Spark/Python) to perform heavy-lifting transformations that exceed standard SAP capabilities, such as complex payroll allocations, localized benefit calculations, or blending external market benchmark data.
- Datasphere Model Building: Build and maintain the Business Layer and Data Layer in SAP Datasphere. Create Graphical/SQL Views and Analytic Models specifically optimized for SAC consumption.
- Automated Data Orchestration: Design and monitor end-to-end schedules. Ensure that when a planner opens an SAC story,



the data has been refreshed from source systems without manual intervention.
- Quality Assurance & Reconciliation: Implement automated reconciliation scripts to verify that headcount and total labor costs in Datasphere match the source systems (SuccessFactors/Finance) before data is pushed to the SAC Planning model.

Technical Skills & Experience

- SAP Datasphere Mastery: Expert knowledge of Spaces, Data Flows, and Transformation Flows. Experience with Remote Tables and Data Federation vs. Replication strategies.
- Databricks / Spark: Proficiency in PySpark or SQL within Databricks to clean and enrich HR data. Ability to manage Delta Lake tables for versioned workforce data.
- Integration Specialist: Hands-on experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and Cloud Connector. Knowledge of how to handle SuccessFactors API pagination and delta loads.
- Data Modeling for Planning: Understanding of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema designs specifically for OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) and SAC Planning requirements.
- Security & PII Governance: Expert-level implementation of Data Access Controls (DAC) in Datasphere to ensure sensitive salary data is only visible to authorized planners based on their Org Unit.

Professional Experience

- Workforce Planning Background: Previous experience working on at least one SAC Workforce Planning or SAP BPC project is highly preferred.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven track record of working as the "Technical Lead" supporting a "Functional Lead" (Consultant) to deliver business-critical analytics.
- Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies between HRIS (SuccessFactors) and the Planning workplace (SAC) independently.
