Robust knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, and networking fundamentals

Hands-on experience with Windows OS and Active Directory

n

Firewall and VPN troubleshooting experience

n

Knowledge of system deployment and backup tools

n

Relevant experience in L2 support or similar role

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Advanced Networking & Troubleshooting

n

- Diagnose and resolve complex network and connectivity issues
- Work with IP addressing (VLSM, CIDR) and VLAN configurations
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot DNS/DHCP issues
- Perform packet analysis and trace routing

Windows OS Administration n

- Manage and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
- Handle registry configurations and system recovery tools
- Apply and troubleshoot Group Policy
- Automate tasks using PowerShell

Active Directory Administration n

- Manage AD replication and troubleshoot failures
- Handle FSMO roles and Group Policy




- Perform bulk user management via PowerShell
- Manage DNS within AD environments

Firewall & Security n

- Configure firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, and VPNs
- Monitor logs and resolve security issues
- Implement application-level security policies

Server & Endpoint Management n

- Manage Windows servers, backups, and patching
- Handle NTFS permissions and DFS
- Perform OS imaging, deployment, and recovery
- Manage antivirus and endpoint security solutions

n

Qualifications & Skills

n

Essential

n

- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VLANs, and networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS and Active Directory
- Firewall and VPN troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of system deployment and backup tools

Preferred n

- Certifications like Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified
- Experience in enterprise IT environments
