Position - Design Engineering Manager
n
Experience - 12+ Years of relevant experience in execution of Design engineering projects FEED , Detail Design, Oil and Gas consultants
n
Qualifications
n
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Engineering Management or related field
n
Location - Navi Mumbai
n
Immediate Joinee Preferred Responsibilities:-
n
Operational Oversight
n
Lead day-to-day operations across multiple Design and Engineering projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budgets
n
Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and procedures to support project delivery excellence.
n
Monitor and manage design execution, progress, and project deliverables through coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
n
Actively involved in proposals and Pre-bid
n
Resource & Team Management:
n
Oversee allocation and utilization of technical and project management resources.
n
Work closely with department leads (engineering, procurement, HSE, quality, etc.) to ensure adequate staffing and skills across projects.
n
Support recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and team development initiatives.
n
Financial & Cost Control:
n
Assist in estimate / budget preparation, forecasting, and cost monitoring across projects.
n
Identify operational risks and implement cost-control measures to ensure financial performance targets are met.
n
Work closely with finance to manage invoices, cash flow, and financial reporting.
n
Process Improvement & Compliance:
n
Drive continuous improvement in operational practices, tools,
and workflows.
n
Ensure compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal policies (including ISO, HSE, QA/QC).
n
Facilitate audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
n
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
n
Serve as a focal point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
n
Participate in proposal development, contract negotiation, and project kickoff meetings.
n
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address operational challenges or escalations proactively.
n

Required
n
Strong understanding of the project lifecycle in Design and Engineering projects: feasibility, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction oversight.
n
Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project), ERP systems
n
