Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualification: MBA in Finance, CA (Inter/Final) / Chartered Accountant preferred
- Experience: 13 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO / Finance operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Hands-on experience in SAP FICO module
- Basic understanding of MM & SD modules
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred:

- Experience in infrastructure/construction industry
- Exposure to SAP implementation or migration projects

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing SAP FICO operations including master data management, financial postings, period-end closing, and cross-functional coordination. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and efficient resolution of SAP-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Master Data Management:

- Creation and maintenance of Profit Centres and Cost Centres
- Vendor and Customer master creation (including Inter/Intra plant)
- Fixed Deposit (FD) Customer creation
- General Ledger (GL) account creation and maintenance




- Bank key creation and updates

2. Financial Accounting Operations:

- Posting of all types of accounting entries in SAP
- Reversal and correction of financial entries
- Uploading of bank charges and other financial transactions
- Handling Section 194Q data uploading and compliance

3. Period-End Closing:

- Execution of month-end closing activities within defined timelines
- Support in year-end closing and audit requirements
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data

4. Issue Resolution & Support:

- Resolving floor-level issues related to SAP FICO
- Coordinating with internal departments for issue resolution
- Providing day-to-day SAP finance support

5. Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Basic support and understanding of MM & SD modules
- Assisting in testing new scenarios and system transactions
- Coordination with IT teams and external vendors (e.g., Webtel)

6. Integration & Compliance:

- Managing bank integration with SAP
- Coordinating for e-invoicing and e-way bill issue resolution
- Ensuring compliance with applicable tax and statutory regulations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Timely completion of month-end closing (within defined TAT)
- Accuracy in financial postings (minimal errors/rework)
- Turnaround time (TAT) for issue resolution
- Master data accuracy and error-free creation
- Compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS including 194Q)
- Reduction in manual adjustments and reconciliation differences
- Successful coordination and closure of e-invoicing/e-way bill issues
- Audit observations/errors related to SAP kept at minimum
