We are seeking an Android Security Research Engineer with robust expertise in Android internals, reverse engineering, and mobile security research. The role involves analyzing android application and platform defenses, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting deep security research across app, framework, and kernel layers.
Key Responsibilities
Reverse engineer Android apps (APK/AAB) to identify security and logic flaws
Perform Android application penetration testing, including runtime hooking and traffic interception
Analyze and bypass security controls such as SSL pinning, root detection, anti-debugging, and obfuscation
Research Android internals (framework, ART/Dalvik, Binder IPC, permissions)
Analyse and make PoC for known Android vulnerabilities
Develop and maintain Frida scripts, Objection workflows, and custom security tools
Must-Have Skills
Strong understanding of Android architecture, internals, and attack surfaces
Hands-on experience in Android reverse engineering and application pentesting
Proven ability to bypass common mobile security protections
Experience with PoC replication, and process chaining basic
Hands-on experience with Corellium simulator Android environments
Proficiency with tools: ADB, Android Studio, Frida, Objection, Burp Suite, Metasploit
Good-to-Have
Android malware analysibootloaderce
Knowledge of rooting, bootloader unlocking, and custom ROMs
- Familiarity with NDK, JNI, ARM64, and scripting (Python/JavaScript/Bash)
