IT Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented IT administrator to help manage our company's IT infrastructure. You will be involved with upgrading and installing hardware and software, performing troubleshooting to resolve IT issues, and maintaining our internal networks and servers.

Responsibilities:

- Installing or upgrading Windows/Linux systems and servers.
- Exposer to cloud services on AWS / Azure /GCP / Kubernetes will be a plus
- Responsible for company’s local Linux Network – GNU/Linux installation, management, and troubleshooting.
- Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.
- Analyzes and resolves problem associated with the operating system’s severs, hardware, software, and application.
- Respond to network connectivity issues and resolve any LAN and wireless communication issues.
- Monitoring network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.




- LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco certification.
- At least two years' experience in a similar role.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
- Very positive interpersonal and communication skills.
