Job Description: Urban Planner (6–10 Years Experience)

Location: Bengaluru

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planner with 6–10 years of post‑Master’s skilled experience to work with a private consultancy delivering urban planning assignments for Government and public sector clients. The role involves preparation of statutory and strategic plans, field coordination, and close engagement with Government agencies and multidisciplinary teams, including regular site engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare master plans, city development plans, TOD/area‑based plans, and infrastructure‑linked planning studies
Interpret and apply Government policies, URDPFI guidelines, state town planning acts, and development control regulations
Plan and coordinate primary surveys (household, traffic, land use, socio‑economic), including survey design, supervision, and data validation
Undertake frequent travel to project sites for field reviews, surveys, meetings with local authorities, and stakeholder consultations




Coordinate with ULBs, SPVs, state departments, and other stakeholders
Prepare technical reports, drawings, presentations, and responses to Government reviews
Support stakeholder consultations, workshops, and approval processes

Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Urban Planning / Regional Planning / Urban Design
6–10 years of relevant experience in urban planning consultancy for Government projects
Solid understanding of Indian urban planning regulations and flagship schemes (AMRUT, Smart Cities, etc.)
Proven experience in managing field surveys and integrating survey outputs into planning proposals
Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and MS Office
Robust report writing and client coordination skills
Willingness to travel frequently for project requirements
Preference for Telugu‑speaking candidates
