Job Description

The ideal candidate will manage a team of copywriters, guiding their output with a growth mindset, in a margin-conscious way. They tirelessly optimize ROAS, streamline landing page experiences, and constantly look for opportunities in the funnel. Their ad creative testing will set the foundation for data-driven campaigns in search, display, and video. The ideal candidate is comfortable producing scalable content under tight deadlines, applying learnings across a dozen expert verticals and over 200 subcategories. In this role, they will work closely with designers, analysts, engineers, and PPC ops, ultimately reporting up to the Senior Director of Customer Acquisition.


Coordinate the content creation efforts of a small team of copywriters, ensuring top-notch quality.

Create and test targeted search ads to improve ad quality and ROAS in smart bidding environment.

Work with analytics, product, engineering and UX teams to maximize conversions via ads and landing pages while maintaining a great user experience.

Test new ad channels and formats with an eye toward scalability and profitability.

Transfer any creative learnings to teams across the funnel, especially with international partners.

Set tight creative strategies that reverberate across campaigns and resonate with customers.

Assist with conversion optimization strategy by writing ad copy, A/B testing, to maximize CTR and quality score across engines with a focus on Google.


Have 6 years of experience optimizing ads, landing pages, and conversions for high-traffic sites

Have proficiency in Google, Yahoo and Microsoft Ads

A track record of management experience, especially with writers

Have killer communications skills and experience directing communications that reach tens or hundreds of millions of users

Know your numbers and how to prioritize based on revenue opportunities.

Are a team player who is happy to pitch in wherever there are revenue opportunities

Are analytically oriented, love data and testing your work.

Strong results-orientation combined with excellent judgement and problem-solving skills

Should be hard working with an excellent work ethic.

Bachelors or advanced degrees in Business, Marketing and Analytics or related degree

Ability to learn quickly, to organize, and to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment
