Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Senior Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.

To be successful as a Senior Sales Engineer, you should be persuasive and able to build rapport with customers. Ultimately, an outstanding Senior Sales Executive should be adept at negotiating terms of sales with customers and demonstrate exceptional communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

What you will do?

Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales options

Identifying promising prospects through qualifying leads, networking, and customer referrals.

Develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions to improve their experience through the use of products.

Capture customers' product expectations, experiences, satisfaction, and abandonment propensity via qualitative feedback and quantitative measurement, Voice of the Customer.

Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.

Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.

Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.

Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.

Providing overall guidance to newly-recruited Sales Engineers.

Analyzing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective.

Conducting in-depth research on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.

Meet sales revenue targets.

What we look for?

Bachelors degree or equivalent (preferably engineering)

A commitment to excellent customer service

Willingness to pick up the phone, dial and not be afraid of rejection

Previous experience in a software/technical sales or a related sales position (preferably SaaS platform)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Should not be alien to terms like API, Endpoint, URL and webhook.

Strong listening and sales skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and stakeholders over call and email.

Prior experience of using CRM tools such as Pipedrive, ZOHO, Leaqsqaured etc and video meeting tools such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, CISCO Webex etc..
