About the Role
As the Event Manager on the ABM team, you will help strategize and manage events, webinars, and other field marketing experiences/programs that will drive B2B demand and raise awareness about Exotel. The role will focus on digital events for the majority of 2021, however, at a later stage, it would also include in-person events when it is safe to do so. In addition to developing Exotel-hosted events/webinars, you will lead our efforts to grow Exotels presence at key industry events and conferences. As the first events-focused member of the ABM team, youll play a major role in driving B2B growth and bringing Exotels brand to life through unique and creative events.
What you will do?
Develop and manage Exotels event marketing program (for both India and SEA region) and design the complete strategy for the same - online and offline events - to help build the Exotel brand and also generate demand
Experiment with different event formats - from large scale events to webinars, roundtables, conferences, workshops, and many more to identify and scale the best performing formats and build a strategy around the same
Build a vendor pool of event management companies that Exotel can readily work with for all given formats.
Partner with other cross-functional teams (Enterprise Sales, inside sales, CSM teams) to identify opportunities to leverage events and online experiences that would help amplify the impact of their campaigns
Identify various industries/markets that Exotel can penetrate into to create brand awareness and also help with the demand gen process
Work closely with content, digital, and the design team (external) to develop the content and assets for different events programs
Ensure effective tracking and reporting across all events initiatives to ensure we are measuring impact, gathering learnings, and continually improving. Track ROI from every event/webinar both from lead gen and brand building point of view.
What we look for?
Minimum of 3 years experience in events and field marketing and at least 1 year of experience working in a B2B firm.
You have experience of leading both online and offline events in the past for the given markets - India and South East Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and Philippines)
You are great at communication and work well with cross-functional teams. You are great at communicating between different teams and building relationships.
